Morning Sickness -

  • Herbal teas made with chamomile, lemon balm, and peppermint are also known to reduce nausea. Use 1-2 teaspoons of dried herb per cup of hot water. Avoid peppermint tea if you have heartburn.

  • Nothing beats morning sickness like a cup of ginger tea.

  • Sniff a slice of lemon. Some say it helps with morning sickness

Is morning sickness really a good sign?

It's a belief that if you suffer from morning sickness during pregnancy you're less likely to miscarry. Morning sickness may also play a role in promoting healthy placental development. So while you may feel ghastly you can think positively and feel encouraged that sickness is a sign that your pregnancy is going well...

Swollen Feet -

  • Hot and cold footbaths. The hot water brings blood to your feet and cold moves it back out. Immerse your feet in the hot water for 3 minutes and then in cold water for about 30 seconds. Switch backward and forwards six times ending with cold water footbath.

  • After that rest for 10 -15 minutes with your feet up. Rest in your bed and keep 2 pillows to raise your feet. You will feel better.

  • Take half an hour's nap each day. While resting see that your feet are raised up as said so that it helps t take the pressure off your legs.

    Get Heartburn Under Control -

  • Don't eat big meals and leave at least an hour between the evening meal and going to bed.

  • Wear clothes that are loose around the waist.

  • Dried ginger root has significant anti-nausea properties take either capsules of the freeze-dried extract or sip ginger tea or nibble on crystallized ginger.

  • Try not to bend over, bend your knees to pick anything from the floor.

    Combat Back Pain -

  • Avoid standing for long periods, backache becomes common, and standing for extended periods increases the pain.

  • Support your back sit up straight and press your lower back against the chair back.

Minimize the Likelihood of Stretch Marks -

  • Nearly every woman gets stretch marks- on the skin that turn from purplish red to silvery white. They occur because the skin has to stretch and expand for the abdomen and breasts.
