Ease Breathing During an Attack -
* When an asthma attack occurs try to stay calm. Panic can make it worse, just close your eyes as you inhale see your lungs expand and fill with white light and feel your breathing become easier. Repeat this exercise twice more, then open your eyes.
* In Emergency drink a strong cup of coffee. (drink whatever is high in caffeine) Caffeine is chemically related to theophylline a medication for asthma. It helps to open the airways. (even cola or red bull cans).
Remedies -
* White small onion - take a fresh raw onion and juice it. Drink 30ml of a small cup daily empty stomach after waking up in the early morning, continue for a month or two you will definitely see the difference.
* Omega-3 Fatty acids - found in oily fish such as tuna, salmon, and trout, work like asthma drugs called leukotriene inhibitors. These stop the actions of body compounds that cause inflammation in the airways. (Talk to the Doctor regarding this)
* Turmeric - The yellow spice is a powerful anti-inflammatory. Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder in a cup of warm milk and drink it twice a day.
-- Keep a record - Anything you eat increases the frequency or severity of your attacks.
It can be dairy products - chemicals in cooldrinks - ice- creams - dust -fast running -swimming - fungus on leaves - Strong perfume smell - mosquito coils or spray or moist in the pack house. So once you are aware of what triggers your asthma you can avoid it at once.
Preventions -
Don't smoke and do stay away from the people who do.
Don't huddle around a fireplace or wood-burning stove.
In cold weather wrap a scarf around your nose and mouth
Stomach acids that cause heartburn can also trigger asthma attacks.
Swimming or running can sometimes cause breathlessness.
Concentrated packed juices like mango or any chemical base cold drink are big NO. Instead, make fresh juices of any fruit.
Clean your bedsheet and house frequently to avoid dust.
